Me time

Knitting for others is a joy. Yet every now and then I get the urge to make something for myself. I used Caron's new eco-yarn that replaced Simply Soft. It really is wonderful and is supposedly made in part from recycled plastic bottles.

Support Our Ministry

We are always in need of more yarn to make prayer shawls. The design of our shawls permits us to accept virtually any type of yarn - any texture, color, fiber and amount (at least 12" long, please). Chenille and velour-type yarns are the only ones I've found so far that don't work well in the shawls.

As you're clearing your stash or getting ready to throw out the leftover yarn from your completed projects, please consider sending it to Soulful Knitting Ministries so that we can incorporate it into our shawls to be donated to women who will be blessed by them.
